Mortgage Sales Team Leader

Our client, a well-known high street bank, is currently looking for a Mortgage Sales Team Leader to join them working remotely across branches in London and the South East. 

Job Purpose

This is an excellent opportunity for a CeMAP qualified sales focused individual to excel in a supervisory role, demonstrating teamwork and focus on the job in hand.  This position offers the opportunity for the successful applicant to achieve rewards and recognition by exceeding sales targets through the team. The ideal candidate must be target driven with the desire to succeed and able to demonstrate resilience.

Reporting to the Mortgage Sales Manager you MUST have:

  • Must be CeMAP qualified
  • Must have supervisory / management experience of people
  • Must have a proven sales  experience and customer service skills
  • Must be motivated to achieve success whilst adhering to compliance procedures
  • Must have strong communication and organisational skills
  • Must be positive and focused with a “can do” attitude
  • Must be flexible
  •  

Key Accountabilities:

  • In conjunction with the Area Sales Managers, You will be required to supervise, coach and mentor a team of regulated advisors to achieve their individual and collective targets in accordance with the company’s objectives and visions.

                            

  • Prioritise and plan activities including resource planning to meet customer demand in line with the company’s business plan.

 

  • Support the implementation of new ideas and tools to enable branch colleagues to be accountable for their personal development and improvement.  Lead by example undertaking the activities that will increase performance.

 

  • Ensure regulated supervisory activities are completed accurately and in a timely fashion in accordance with the organisations branch scheme, including system and documentation updates reflecting required actions providing a clear audit trail.

 

  • Ensure any corporate complaints and policies, procedures and practices and are implantation and colleagues act in accordance with frameworks and comply with all legal regulatory requirement codes.

 

  • Receive, review and interpret management information.

Along with an outstanding benefit package, a salary between £29,000 to £45,000 is available dependent on experience.

This is a flexible contract i.e. stated hours can include Saturdays with time off in lieu.
